James Ingraffia, MS GMBA
Founder and CEO
Mr. James T. Ingraffia is the founder and principal geologist of Lithium Arrow LLC. He has a decade of experience in geology, 7 years experience in lithium economic geology, and is a highly trained specialist in lithium claystone and experienced in lithium brines and pegmatites. He got his start with the United States Geological Survey in lithium brine and claystone geochemistry, in partnership with Pure Energy Minerals before its purchase by Schlumberger. He then characterized the Thacker Pass lithium claystone deposit, from the atomic to kilometer scale, and published the results in partnership with Lithium Americas Corporation and the Nevada Bureau of Mines and Geology. Additionally, Mr. Ingraffia had the privilege to serve the academic-industrial geological community as Vice Chairperson of the Association of Environmental and Engineering Geologists, Great Basin Chapter. He holds a Master’s Degree of Geology, with training in Business Administration, from the University of Nevada Reno and a Bachelor’s of Geology from California State University Northridge. Mr. Ingraffia’s geologic interests outside of lithium are fossils and precious stones.

Dr. Holly McLachlan
Geologist with an Emphasis in
Mineral Exploration
Dr. Holly McLachlan holds Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry, Masters of Science in Economic Geology, and PhD in structural geology, with a specialization in geothermal resource assessment and 3-D modeling. She is an economic geologist with minerals commodity expertise in gold/silver and lithium, GIS and geodatabase construction, and green fields exploration. Holly has experience in regional resource assessment and archival data retrieval, including geophysics, seismic, historic mapping, and geochemistry. Her area of focus is project generation and evaluation within the intermontane West.

Mr. Jeremy Chapelle
Geologist with an Emphasis in
Project Coordination
With strong international mining production experience with industry leaders like Fortescue in West Australia and Saint-Gobain in central France, Mr. Jeremy Chapelle brings a wealth of practical experience to our startup. Mr. Chapelle’s BSc. in Mines and Quarries from French Polytechnical Institute UniLaSalle studies abroad in Nevada, USA, have equipped him with a global perspective and a deep understanding of diverse geological landscapes. Mr. Chapelle has applied these experiences into a specialization in sedimentary-hosted deposits of industrial minerals, such as iron oxide and evaporite gypsum.
Mr. Chapelle’s expertise in project management, geological field work, data acquisition, and process optimization is invaluable in driving our mission to Lithium Arrow. His ability to collaborate effectively and implement innovative solutions will be instrumental in our success.

Ms. Daniela Manzano, MS
Geologist with an Emphasis in
Mineral Exploration
Ms. Daniela Manzano is an accomplished international geologist and brings a wealth of experience in geothermal lithium and lithium brines to our company. Ms. Manzano holds a BSc. in Geology from the University of Costa Rica and a MS in Mining Engineering, completed through an EIT Raw Materials Academy program in Poland, Sweden, and Croatia. Her master’s thesis focused on geothermal and lithium exploration from brines.
Ms. Manzano possesses expertise in exploration geology, seismology, petrology, ore modeling, and rock stress analysis. She is currently pursuing a diploma in geothermal energy. Some of Ms. Manzano’s geological interests outside of mining are: minerals and maps collecting, crystallography, and seismology.

Mr. Derek Field, MS
Geologist with an Emphasis in
Mineral Exploration
Mr. Derek Field is a geologist with a strong background in fieldwork, surveying, and mapping. He focuses on geochemistry, geochronology and stratigraphy to understand the geologic history and ore distribution of each area that he studies.
Before moving to the United States, Derek was born and raised in western Canada where he gained experience in GIS and well logging within the petroleum industry. While earning his Bachelor of Science in Geology from California Lutheran University, he performed paleontological research on Cambrian trilobites in eastern California. He then moved to Arizona to pursue a Master of Science in Geology from Northern Arizona University. His thesis entailed mapping and cataloguing a 100-km2 swath of Mesozoic metavolcanic rocks in the Mount Morrison roof pendant.
After serving as Associate Faculty of Environmental Science and Adventure Education at Prescott College for the better part of three years, Derek moved to Nevada to pursue a career in the lithium industry. His experience thus far includes exploration, sample logging, and drilling supervision on lithium claystone projects in northern Nevada.
All team members are independent contractors and contribute their expertise on a project basis under the direction of Lithium Arrow LLC.
